Earlier this month I shared the above image on my social media pages.
I've become fascinated with how people respond to this question.
From body language, and choice of words, the responses are so telling.
I've become even more fascinated with how I respond to this question...mostly how I no longer feel the need to emphasize what I do (titles, roles, degrees, etc).
Sure those things have its place depending on the setting. However, these days I'd rather focus on who I'm BEING, not what I'm doing.
And even deeper than that, I focus on how I want other to FEEL when they're around me - at peace, free, safe, and loved.
Recently I've had the chance to reconnect with some beloved colleagues. It was great to see that while many of us moved on, much of our relationship and association with one another hasn't.
I'm still the confidante as major TEA (news) is shared, the counselor that provides insight on navigating through a new relationship, and the voice that can soothe nerves through frustrations.
Your Identity Follows You
When I left my corporate career, there were certain things I did I leftbehind for good.
After my transition, reconnection with colleagues, and the transformational work I do with many of you, I NOW understand the core of our soul-level identity is the driving force behind what others experience in our presence.
It shows up no matter what industry or arena you find yourself in.
Your soul identity is who you are, and directly linked to your calling.
And a female leader, the calling is something you embody.
What about you, who are you?
How do you want others to FEEL when with you?
Blessings and love,
Keandra
